    Default jordan tournament results

well it was as tough a day on jordan as i can remember, reminded me of why i haven't been on that lake in a while, water was hot, stained and the fish were very scattered and seemed to have lockjaw. with less than one ounce seperating the top three it was a real tight tournament, thanks to all those that came out, hope ya'll have enjoyed and learned a bit, if you are planning on attending the blewett falls tournament on the 15th please let me know and hold to your word, if we don't have enough we may cancel and just join the nightstalk that same evening.

1st Freddie and Blake 3lbs 6.1 ounces and BF of 15.1 ounces they won $200 for overall tx winner and big fish
    2nd Dennis and Hunter 3lbs 5.5 ounces
3rd Kevin, Jake and Payne 3lbs 5.3 ounces

a special shout out to Darrel and Dezaray, i have been trying to get others to bring the youth and was glad ya'll came, they won't learn unless we take the time to show them, and while it can test your patience its well worth it.

and to Paul and Kevin i hope ya'll figured them out by the end of the day missed ya'll at the wieghin

we caught some crappie but none of a legal size. the spot we had found some nice fish on Monday was a washout sat. we kept moving and looking but never found any good size fish. nice to meet everyone and we will do it again. congrats to the winners. it was a tough day on the water.

I did the same--spent hours a week ago finding fish, but nothing on Saturday but small crappie and lots of white perch with even six yellow perch. Kevin's son and I both had large crappie up to the boat, but lost them before we could get a net on them. That's fishing.

One point to make is that Freddie never takes clients out the day before, day of and day after a full moon. Full moon was Friday night, so Freddie may know something we need to heed. He won on Saturday with his son--quite a formidable team. Kevin has won and placed well in a number of tournaments throughout the Southeast, so it was an honor for Charles and myself to be competing with guys with this talent and ability. Glad to see the new guys out competing as well.

The Little one and I had a good time even though the fish had lock jaw. Glad to finally meet some of the crappie.comers and put a face with the name. Hope to make the next tournament. Definitely looking forward to many more.
