    Default Moss report 7-16-15

We went this morning, took parkers grandson( 8 years old), trying to put him on some crappie, water temp was 83, it was slow, one here and there, catch one or two and move on. He did real good, he fished right there beside us, He showed pawpaw how to do it. Parker was struggling all morning, but he finally figured it out. Put 76 crappie in the boat, 8 to 14 inches, got hot about 1:30 so we give up. Vertical jigging brush in 15 to 20 feet of water. Took some pictures, but didn't do something right and lost most of them, but here are 2 of them......

Never fished Moss. Thinking about giving it a try here soon. I need to get my boat out.
    Couple questions for ya.
1- the only boat ramp is located on the SE part of the lake correct? Off new camp cr church rd?

2- when fishing that deep brush do you just use plastics on jig heads? Or minnows?
    Thanks for any info guys.

The landing is at the dam, must have permit from office, I have used minnows many times, they work well but i use plastic on jig heads. I dont like taking care of minnows.
