Friday (and night) at Harris Report

Went to Harris around 6:30 yesterday and got back into them again. Caught 30-40 before dark slow trolling minnows and jigs and the jigs produced the best. Put the lights in the water at dark and caught another 20-30. Most fish were around 11-12" but did catch a 14" and 15" under the lights. I read a lot of people catch on the outside of the light but I caught all but one directly under the lights. Great night and awesome weather.
I left at 2:30am and there were still a good dozen boats out there fishing. I was really surprised by how were there at that time of night. Were any of you guys there last night? If you were there you probably got to see and hear the boat loaded with some people who were probably part-taking in some adult beverages and tubing at dark. And they wonder why fatal accidents happen.
All fish were released for another day.

Very nice. Looks like it's time to get the light out.

It's amazing how many boaters leave their brains at the dock. That kind of stuff puts a kink into your enjoyment when you have to worry about an idiot slamming into you.
