Fish were biting today....Report

We fished moss today, decided to work yesterday and let the holiday crowd have it to them self. Glad we did, started about 8 am fished for crappie till about 11 am, they were on brush in 12 to 16 feet of water, using jigs, then we switched over to bass, we been killing the bass for the last month! 30 + a day, but not today, they weren't biting good, so we went back to crappie about 1 pm and stayed on them till 3 pm, it got hot after lunch, so we give up. Kept 20 crappie 10 to 13 inches to eat, total crappie was 103, and about 15 bass. water temp was 83. no pictures today. got windy about 10 am and never let up and made it hard to stay on the brush, if we could have stayed on the brush we would have done better.
