There is a State message board here for North Carolina. They would be able to answer the question for you. More then likely you will find someone that fishes that lake. Once again Welcome Aboard

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
The best thing is to come out to the Crappie.com fish fry this Saturday on Jordan at the Farrington Boat ramps. We are having a tournament that starts in the morning and then inviting all our friends to join us mid-afternoon for a fish fry. We've been having these Crappie.com fish fry's for over five years now. It is a great chance to meet friends and learn a lot about the best places to fish. Crappie fishing has been very good the past year and I have have limited out a number of times.
mac crappie LIKED above post
Dennis, I limited out 5 times Tuesday. The fish had retreated from the shallows due to the cold front and were hunkered down in 18+ feet. I caught several with eggs dropping and several black squirting males. I had my limit in 90 minutes, then they really started hitting. It was fast and furious until finally, the fish won and my arms got tired. For those of you who know me, the bite was so fast and furious that I had to put my second rod away. I had one over 14" and several 13". What a day!!! Probably the best day I've had on Jordan in 5 or 6 years.
I think they'll move back to shallow water as the sun and south wind will bring the water Temps back above 60*.
Ya'll should have a great day Saturday if the wind will let you fish. Hate to miss it, but I have another appointment at the golf course. Newell, you can give my minnow bucket to someone else.
Good report Bill. Charles and I pre-fished today and found some nice ones. It was 62.5 up in Bush and another cove that I will not give out was 65. I'm sure some of the females have already spawned, but lots of males still around. We caught one female that was probably near 2.5 today and will post the picture tomorrow. The background may give away our secret.
Dennis, why worry about that secret spot- you already caught the big one.
We fished very shallow today and caught a ton. We were slingin' bobbers off the bank then reeling them back about one foot and just about every one we caught were males. Ran thru 10 dozen minnows in no time. Funny we were in a boat casting to the bank and the people fishing from the bank were casting out about 25 feet.
We put the big one and several other nice ones we caught back in the lake. We didn't keep any today. The freezer is pretty full, so I'm throwing everything back right now. I'll keep some tomorrow for the afternoon fish fry.
