    I saw something down there yesterday I haven't seen in years a big school of suckers around the old road bed out past the bridge at Farrington

    I caught one in the Roanoke River a few years back. I didn't think they were in the lakes though.

    Mac, you sure they weren't carp? I've seen them by the thousands up in Cub creek at this time of the year, 7 to 10 in a group and all cruising right at the top of the water.

    Chief they didn't look like carp they were more of a reddish brown I first thought they were catfish

    Sometimes carp have that reddish brown hue. Were these that you saw probably a foot or two -- kinda small? Flatfoot
