15 years ago My father passed away in Arkansas. I brought his 6 horse Evinrude home to the Carolinas. It has set on my garage all those years. I would like to have it worked on get it running and give to my Gandson. Do you have title in NC

The state of North Carolina does not require a title on a motor.

No title for the motor but if you use it on a boat the boat does need to be registered and have the numbers on the boat.

The latest is that you need numbers and sticker on both sides of the boat
It drives me crazy, you can drive a moped with out tags, but you put a trolling motor on a canoe and you need tags
