    Default Tuckertown 3/17

Fished yesterday afternoon from 3 til dark. There were quite a few boats out there, more than I've seen in awhile, and most looked like they were going after crappie.

I fished all afternoon, missing a few bites, but did not catch a fish until 30 min. before dark. Caught 5 in the last 30 min. I talked with 2 or 3 other boats, and they all had the same experience. The wind was up, which made it hard to fish, and then it calmed a little before dark and that's when a few were caught. Water temp was 54-61 depending on location, and the water is stained to muddy. The bites I got were in 20' of water.

Sounds like a rough day. Atleast you did catch a couple of them. Good report

Hard fishing there. I know Patients is a virtue, but I think I would have loaded up and left long before dark. Way to hang tough.
