Skunked on High Rock 3/15

First time posting here.
One of my neighbors told me he took 20 from his dock last week. So, I figured it was time o put the boat in and have a fresh fish fry.....NOT.
Main lake was 54 when I put in. I figure that was a little cool but headed for one of my favorite creeks, in hopes of warmer waters. Got all the way back into 2 foot of water and the temp was still 54. I put a minnow on a slip bobber set up and started working my way out, hitting brush all the way. Did not get a single bite.
On my way out. I marked a lot of fish a the mouth of the creek in 18 FOW. I got on the trolling motor and worked them hard for about an hour. Still not a bite. So I packed it up and headed for another creek. Spent about an hour in there with the same results.
Not a good way t start the year. I hope someone else did better.

how fast were you trolling lately we've been catching em between .7-1 mph speed in the warmest water we can find whether its a mainlake or creeks/coves
