    Default James 3/1

Went to James for some walleye today with no joy.

Found some white perch suspended at 60 ft over 110ft of water at the very end of the day. They hit minnows and jigging spoons.

    Water temp 42 degrees.

The remaining snow was telling. I know which parts of the lake will warm up the least in the coming weeks and avoid those banks.

Back around Christmas, I found walleye (On James) and WP right off the bottom in 90 FOW. Picked up the walleye on a jigging spoon (slow going at that depth) and all the perch came on a night crawler tipped sabiki.

Been a couple of times since but had engine trouble and fished very little.
