North River out of Indian Town

I had the pleasure of fishing with Hunter and Jordanlimit yesterday on the North River. We at met up at 6am and made the rainy drive out. We launched the boat in a down pour and by the time we were a few minutes out the rain stopped. We were there for Yellow Perch. I would say after 10 minutes or so we found a few. Then Hunter hooks into a 21" Striper. After a fight on the Crappie rod we were able to get him in the boat.

It was soon after the Striper was landed the wind turned on hard out of the Northwest. Fishing was tough to say the least but we were picking up one here and there. We ended up the day with 13 Perch, 5 Crappie and the Striper. I have to say Hunter's boat is a fishing machine and that canopy was the ticket yesterday. There would have been no we way we could have fished in my boat with that weather. It did a great job of blocking the wind allowing us to continue fishing.

JL worked hard on the trolling motor keeping us on the fish too! He had is rods out the front and would hide in the shelter then run out and catch fish. We all had a good time. Shared laughs on the ride out, fishing and on the ride back. The weather was undesirable but all in all I thought we had a great day on the water. Thanks Again Guys I had a blast!
