Default Jeremy (Crataegus) Joined us for a good day on Jordan

Charles and I were glad to have Jeremy join us on the Beast for a day of fishing. We kept 30 today with Jeremy taking them home to eat. Probably caught 75 or more, but threw a number back. Jeremy didn't want anything under 10.5, so we threw all those smaller back.

Most were caught on minnows, although a few did bite jigs and they were caught no more than a couple of feet off the bottom. The fish are clearly staging, so if you have a favorite place for pre-spawn, you had better be checking it out. The morning started off pretty cold, as you can see by one of the pictures below. I had some really good screen-shots, but somehow they did not get saved to my SD card. I'll have to post them later sometime.

Jeremy always gives me $3 when he goes with me. Dollar on the first, dollar on the biggest, dollar on the most.

Dennis, how deep and what color? Electric chicken jokers were hot Tuesday.

Chief, that's the tradition on my boat... $1 on the first fish.

16-24 feet today--up in the mouths of some creeks. Go to where you and my Father did well a couple of years ago. They are thick in there.

I think I caught the first one, but it was a throw-back. I think most of our fish were males ganged up for pre-spawn.

Nice job guys. I couldn't make it out today but I'll be at Jordan tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully my luck will continue and be half as good as yours.
