    Default New Bern 2/1


    All fish caught in less than 8' of water. Temps were 41(close to 42) to 45*f by the end of the day. Water in the Trent is up slightly and is visibly stained. Water in the Neuse is up as well, and was considerably more muddy where I was at.

    Nice going Jack!! Keep the river fishing reports coming. I've been slacking off the last few weekends, gotta go bother some fish this week. Fine looking cooler. I hope people can appreciate how tough it is to fish in a high, muddy river.

    Minnows and jigs. The perch seemed to like an orange jig i was using more than they did anything else though.
