Badin 1/25

Got to hit the water for a little bit this afternoon. Fish were a little slow but still managed 12 crappie 10" and bigger. Caught most in 21 fow bout 15' deep. Got a few in a little shallower water. Bigger fish fell for minnow tipped jigs. Pink was the color of the day, electric chicken to be honest. But others caught on just minnows. Water temp in the 40's and a little windy. I was slow trolling spider rigging, and mean slow like 0.3 mph. Released all for another day. I only fished an hour and half, but felt like it was a good day on water.

An hour and a half for a dozen crappie on Badin on a Sunday. I'd say you had a great day on the water. Nice.

Thanks for the report. I was gonna try to spend a few hours out there this afternoon, but I'm not sure if the weather will cooperate. Sounds like they were biting fine if you picked up a dozen in 1 1/2 hours. Good job.
