    Default Jordan 11/11/15

Fishing started out slow but picked up as the sun came out. The larger fish didn't seem to want a minnow and preferred a jig. I fished double 1/8 oz jig rigs in Cajun Cricket and black body with monkey milk tail. The black and Monkey milk did the best. Not many people fishing today due to the cold I guess. I saw 12* before I put the boat in.

Thanks for the report. It's good to hear they are going after jigs. I would prefer to fish jigs, but sometimes have to go with minnows to put some in the boat.

Gotta do what you gotta do! Its always funner to catch em on jigs, especially casting. Down this way we're only a month and a half away from the spawn. That's when you can forget about the minnows altogether.

On the way to Raleigh today, at 8:30 AM, I saw a jet ski rider at the 64 bridge.

Yes I saw him to.I forgot to mention that. I thought to myself, I wonder what my wife would call that guy since she calls me an idiot for fishing in this cold.

Where you buy them minnows? I might try them sometime. Soon as I get my jetski put away.
