Friend of ours wife passes

For all of you that know Ed Smith,his wife passed away last night.Brenda had been in declining health for quite awhile.Ed is a long time crappie fisherman that almost never missed a tournament or a chance to fish.Prayers go out to Ed and his family.

Funeral arrangements are for Thursday 1:00 visitation 2:00 service Wilkerson Funeral Home Kannapolis on Hwy. 3 beside old lowes building.

Ed is one of the friendliest, nicest, most honest men I have fished around, he is always grinning even on the toughest days, I can't imagine losing my best friend of all those years, let's all keep ed in our prayers. They say behind every good man is a great woman, and i'm sure she is in a better place now.

Yeah Ed is a good guy. He sponsored big fish for several years in our church tournament. Hate to hear of this. Prayers for Ed and family. The funeral home is Whitleys I think.
