    Default deep cycle batteries

Well I was in need of one, today! The place I had been buying from was closed, so I started researching brands, And started calling around, well I found a battery with a complete 2 year warranty, every thing else I looked at had 1 year warranty, so I bought one, A/C delco, Hope it will hold up. Been using interstate batteries, the last one only last 2 years, using a onboard charger, you know how dealers are, they want you to buy there battery, it's the best, but he said I would get more than 2 years out of this one, and the price was better than the interstate battery, interstate was 110.00 for 27 series, this was a 29 series at 102.00, Any body got any good or bad news about this battery? I guess I'll know in 2 years. This battery is used once or twice a week year around. This fishing cost $$$$$$$!

FYI, Minkota recommends replacing batteries at about 18 months (for the auto pilots at least)

Nothing wrong with the A/C Delco battery. Don't know if they are still made by the same people as they once were. Used them in big trucks for years and they held up better than anything else we used. Never had any luck with interstate. Been buying Wally World last couple of years and they have held up fine.

Have had a refurbished gel battery ($50) for going on 4 years , no problems still going strong.
