Y'all can keep it. I'm hitting the Black River and possibly a perch lake this weekend and probably won't see more than two or three other boats. I won't catch a limit or a 16" fish but it'll be peaceful, and I've already got fish in the freezer. Instead of outboards and hollering I'll be listening to the turkeys and the coyotes. You guys have fun with that mess!

Hey Friedfish, Looks like we must fish the same waters. I live in Castle Hayne and fish The Black quite a bit. Ever fish White lake for perch (Yellow)? I agree about that mess on Jordan, it is a good fishery
but looks the word is out and they'll fish it out. I fish Kerr several times a year and never have those close quarters. Good fishin to ya!

B-52Guy, I've fished Kerr several times every month for the last 40 yrs. Only time I see it like that is March on the upper end of Buffalo Creek. I leave'em to it an seek shelter in the other creeks. I was out on Buggs last 3 days ,caught 50-70 each day, seen 3 other boats crappie fishin!

Hey Keith, yep I love fishing Buggs. Rarely a crowd and always more area to fish if it looks like Buffalo in the Spring but only for a short time. Worth the extra drive for me!! We were coming up for Thanksgiving this year but went to Oconee in GA but were disappointed. Hope to see ya over the winter. Steve
