Chainsaw is the only name I've ever known him as. I met him the first time I went fishing on Jordan. He had already caught his limit and was leaving as I got there. he took the time to not only tell me which creek arm he was in, but the depth as well. His advise helped me have a great day of catching. Not many people will actually give you that kind of information. Ran into him several other times after that, and always got good information.
The fact he made it to the hospital is encouraging and I'll say a prayer for this soft spoken man.

I only met him a couple of times, but sure enjoyed meeting him and talking with him those times. Like everyone said, he is a great sportsman and very informative and fun to talk to.
Please keep us updated on anything that anyone might hear about him. Prayers are with him.

Danny don't need those prayers. He needs a beer and a Marlboro.
Actually, the story from the lake was that he needs a new aortic valve and the doc was leaving town. So they sent him home, told him to do NOTHING and in two weeks, he'll have his aortic valve replaced.
I know several people who have had this done and it usually works out fine. They feel better almost immediately, once the heart can pump blood throughout the body.
Look forward to seeing him on the lake in a short time.
