Got me a new trolling motor and took her for a spin to check out the i-Pilot. Man that thing is sweet! I think it's gonna be awesome for long lining and jigging deep brush piles.

Did more looking than fishing and didn't get out there until about 11. Got off the water about 2:30. Looking in Glady's and a few coves farther up towards Circle Drive. Marked some bait but not much fish. Rode around to the other side around the golf course to Garr Creek. Bunch of bait in the mouth of Garr.

Water temps hovering around 80 degrees. Pretty day with lots of boats (mainly joy riders, tubers and bass boats).

Did do some long lining and caught a couple perch and small largemouth. Hoping to get back out there and really try to fish next weekend.

Nice to have a dependable trolling motor again. Need to upgrade the Lowrance but that will have to wait a while.

You will love it. I need to upgrade my DF as well. But every time I get some $$ saved up someone needs it more. O well some day I will have 10'' hummingbirds in the front and back.
