I am right handed. A spinning reel, I hold rod in right and reel with left I cast it with right hand. Baitcasters, rod in left and reel with right I cast with either or both hands depends what I am using.

Spinning and BC I cast with right hand switch hands and reel with right. Like Kjohn I was told I should cast with the left and reel with the right (more efficient). That is why I like to crappie fish not a lot of casting just slow trolling and long lining. :cheers2
