ok I know where this question should be put. I have a oil pump no my 2008 2 Stroke 50 HP Mercury. How much trouble is it to remove the pump and just add oil to the gas? Is it simple enough anyone can do it or would you advise having a shop do it.

I heard thst the VRO mixes at 100-1 @ idle and 50-1 under more throttle. Just shift to N and raise the rmps to clear the excess oil oit of the cyl's.Quote:
