I went with a friend up to High Rock Friday night. First time on this lake, but had a blast.

We launched at Dutch Second Creek access a little before 9pm. Fished under the bridge there for an hour or so catching nothing but little ones before we moved out to a spot near the main lake. Caught quite a few fish (80+), but not a lot of keepers for us. We stayed until about 1:30 - by the time we left, fish were biting so fast, if you didn't get a bite within 4-5 seconds, better check your bait, lol.

They were biting very lightly and would spit a jig so quick it was unreal. My buddy was fishing minnows, and the only way you know if you got a bite, was the link would go slack.

Didn't keep any fish, but caught probably 10 legal keepers, one 12.5" crappie, along with several catfish, a nice white bass, and a few perch in the mix.
