    Default Tillery Sunday night

Hit Tillery about 7pm Sunday night for some fishing under the lights. The parking lot was still full at the Norwood landing and the jet skis and ski boats made the lake like a bath tub with kids in it. Most of the time I cast jigs standing up but I had to set down or be flung out of the boat when big ski boats came by. Still was able to pull some from the Christmas tree farm before setting out the lights. Had good minnow action around the light in short order. It was slow steady action with crappie, cats, and some of the biggest white perch I have ever hooked. Ended the night at 1am with a limit of 10’’ + crappie and 5 big perch.

I always anchor in water 20 to 30 feet deep. Most my bites came between 10 and 15 feet .

I fished Thursday night and had good results, caught my limit but only kept 10 for eating (they were good eating too) also caught a few white perch and I also caught the biggest white bass I have caught in Tillery in a long time

Nice - good fun. I'm looking forward to getting into some big white perch sometime. Mostly the ones I catch on Hickory are 6-8"
