Went out today to see if Mr.& Mrs. Jerkinlips had left any crappie to be caught in Hickory. I guess they left a few because I did manage to pick up 12 keepers that averaged 11" in length. Fished around docks with 15-20 fow with jigs, the color that worked best today was a BG bluegrass vertical jigging. Water temps varied from 68 to 72 depending on which part of the lake you were at. Wind and wake makers were not much of a factor today but the sun was, bit was slow till the sun popped out and it turned the bit on!!
