    Default New Crappie fisherman

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum and new to crappie fishing overall. In fact, I have never caught a crappie; plenty of bream and some bass though. I'd like to try my luck at catching some crappie. I picked up a small tube kit with jig heads, some marabou jigs, and stuff for live minnows as well. I'm not far from Shearon Harris (coming from the Fort Bragg area) and plan on giving it a try within the next few weekends. I will be mostly fishing from the bank, but will also fish from my kayak when the kids don't come along. Any and all advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Weldon

    Welcome from Williamston.

You're invited to come and fish a day with me; I'll show you some basics, and from there it's experience, and reading this forum will be a BIG +. The folks on C.C will share a lot of their knowledge. B-
