Fishing with Mr. and Mrs. BR hunt w/pics

Matt has been trying to take me to his "favorite hole" !@#$%^&* for a couple of years now. We finally got together yesterday and now it's my favorite hole too. Jake and I left Mebane @ 7:00 am and got tot he bait store a little before 8:00. Matt was walking in with his minnow bucket as we pulled in. We met his wife and his friend Tim for the first time. After stocking up on bait and snacks we were off to !@#$%^&*. When we pulled in to !@#$%^&* there were already 2 boat trailers in the parking lot. It was a brisk ride to our spot but as soon as lines were in the water we started catching fish. The bites were light but most fish were 10-12 inches and fat! We were running through the bait pretty quick and were reusing the minnows when we could. I even scooped up a small shad we saw floating on the water to use for bait. We kept hoping for a trophy fish, especially after Matt said that Tim had lost a pig right at the boat. We never got the big bite but we put 40 nice sized fish in the live well and threw that many back too. Matt's wife stayed busy, every time I looked up she was reeling one in! This was her first trip to !@#$%^&* but I'm pretty sure it won't be her last. Anyway, thanks again Matt! We had a great day and I look forward to fishing with you again on !@#$%^&* Here are some pics of our catch. Tanner and his friend Cruz wanted to get in on the pictures too.

We enjoyed it yesterday Boyce. And yes, the wife had a blast.....already says she's taking vacation if we go back Friday. Not so sure now it was a great idea to take her along.
