    Default Trip to new BPS

I went with friends to new BPS in Cary today. I think everyone else did too. I was surprised because I thought it would be larger than it is. On the positive side they seamed to have plenty of help working today(that may not last)and they were knowledgeable of the store and where to find things. I picked up some jigs, A 7' light action fast taper rod, A transducer protector, and some line. The downside was the prices. Some things were priced ok but others were almost double local tackle shop prices. This could be good for locals or may cause them to raise their price.

    Default What a crowd!

We never made it inside. Drove around the parking lot for a while with a dozen other vehicles and turned around and went home!

No way am I going to go around that place until the end of month before the grand opening sale is over. I can only image what that place looked like today.

Here's a few pictures of the inside yesterday. My nephew is on his school's shooting team and wanted me to get some ammo for him. Forget trying to get anywhere near the guns and ammo section.

Thanks for the report Dwight and pics JordanLimit... makes me glad i didn't go. I want to make a trip to Monk's myself sometime in the near future. I have lots of stuff to get before I make the boat purchase.

So is this a full size BPS or a smaller store?

Whatcha gonna get, Special K? I was looking at a real fishing boat, like a center console, but it sure is hard to beat the comfort of a pontoon boat!

I went Saturday, glad I Did too cuz I ended up getting a few fishing supplies and more importantly a box of 333 .22 cal ammo. I was surprised they had some. I found out they were rationing them out and I happened to be in the right place at the right time!
