Cabela's coming to Fort Mill

A new 97,500 sq foot Csbela's is coming to Fort Mill across from Carowinds. Don't know when it will open. This will be closer to me then BPS.

Cabela's is also coming to Raleigh. We've had nothing but Dick's for a long time and then about two years ago, Gander Mountain came to Cary. Bass Pro shops is opening in February just off I-40 in Cary and a year or so from now, Cabela's over in Garner. We've gone from very little in Wake County to the big three all being here.

That sounds great but why are they building locations so close together? They have a store opening in Greenville SC this spring and now one about 1 hr 30 mins away. I can see the need for one in eastern NC like it was talked about for years.

Too many "red necks" in eastern nc. Can't get them out of wally world long enough to shop in a real store. Just my 2 cents. lol

All of this has been rumored for years. hope it flies this time. gander mountain is worthless as a tackle shop.

Cabelas is nice. I've been to the one in Dallas TX. Way better than bass pro in my opinion.

I can't wait for Calelas. Better than Bass Pro and way better than Gander Mountain IMHO.

Sounds good. They should give bass pro a run for there money and get a lot of the south Charlotte traffic.. but I rather spend my money with the little guys between the bass shack, tackle town and koyote bait and tackle I have no need for either of them.

Can't wait for Bass pro or Cabelas , Dicks and gander mt. both suck.
