Nice brisk day at Hyco today. Felt good to be back on the water hunting some slabs instead of deer. Only a few other boats on the lake today...wind was a bit strong especially the main channel. I only found one school and they were deep holding 20'in 30'. They wanted some meat with the jig and was glad I picked up some minnows. I only kept 12 for a good family meal and released the rest. All were thick and 10-12" fat crappie. Left biting fish to look around for new structure. Nice day out. FB
