Default Your forecast includes rain, and after that, more rain.

It appears we are in for a rainy Saturday tomorrow. I checked the forecast for next weekend and so far they are saying rain for Christmas weekend, yet good weather the days I work . I am hoping this changes for the better. I don't mind fishing in some showers, but steady rain can get miserable. Looking forward to taking some time off for Christmas, so lets cross our fingers for good fishing weather.

I feel your pain mttoney. I feel lucky that my work schedule now has me off two days during the week and every other weekend so I can fish around the rain most of the time. This time of year if I get to go during the week I have the lake to my self. I hope you have better weather during Christmas week and I hope you have a great Christmas.

Yeah you definitely can't fish in this heavy of rain that we're getting today.

I'd needed to run the bilge pump the whole time I believe. Do any good on Murray? I hoping to possibly get a few days in next weekend while I'm off for Christmas.

Not really. very slow, water is way down, 8 + feet has moved the crappie and we didn't find many.

Yeah they are religious about dropping the water in the winter for dam repairs. I remember it being down for years when they were earthquake proofing the original dam and building the secondary dam. Fishing proved to be tough then because the areas fish migrated to in the past were not accessible.
