Tried about a week ago, with no luck. I can only imagine what a mess it is now with all of the mud, tree and debris floating down the Yadkin.

Fished about 30 minutes last Wednesday evening while checking out a boat motor repair. Caught about 8 between 7" & 10"...in about 10'-12'. Water temp was around 50 deg. llcallahan, you are right. The main channel @ the mouth of Second Creek was a mess. I managed to dodge the big stuff but still hit several pieces of debris that dropped the bow a little on the way out & back into Second Creek. High Rock is naturally a stained water lake, but the color was much worse than normal. After the rain we had the past couple days, I bet it really is a mess now! Even when it's a mess, I still like to fish it. I've enjoyed many a day, made many friends, and alot of memories fishing "The Rock".

Yes..inside the creek was fine. The debris was all across the main lake from the mouth of Second Creek down to Abbotts Creek. I never went above Second, but I imagine it was pretty rough.
