    Default Flounder Gigging 3/25

I took a couple of my buddies down to Sneads Ferry Saturday night for their first flounder gigging trip. We got on the water at 9 and it started off a little slow just picking one up here and there. As the night went on, the fishing got better. We ended up with our limit of 24 by around 5. All in all a great night and you couldn't have asked for any nicer weather.

Nice fish. My Father, two brothers and myself did a lot of flounder gigging back in the '70's and '80's. I have lots of good memories of spending most of the night out on the water. It's good to see there is some good size flounder down in the water now.
