Correct, sometimes it is good just to go.
I have a small herd on the way to Jordan Lake they I have trained to get up when they see my Tahoe go by.
Ok trained cows, does that work?
We use to use cows as a hunting indicator, if we couldn't kill a deer we would go to McDonald's and get a burger. Lol
I had to wake the cows up yesterday on my way to the lake- Can you imagine me standing bon the side of the road next to my boat and yelling "SOOOOOOIIIIIEEEEEE". Don't laugh- it worked, they got up and brought me some cream for my coffee.
Been thinking about hanging a cell phone on one of them, so that when I get to the lake, I could call them and get them up if the fish aren't biting.
Actually this whole "cow pile" is another of my Old Indian Chief's secrets. Another, like the secret big fish color, that I was sworn to secrecy to keep to myself. I cna talk about it now that the Old Chief has passed to happier hunting grounds. The Indians used to observe the buffalo back when the herds roamed the prairies. And you have to pay particular attention to which way the buffalo are facing. The fish will be doing the same and you should bring your bait in behind them and shock them into hitting.:biggrin
So on the way to the lake you stopped to milk a cow????
Eno is still a little muddy. The fishing should still be real good in the river. The White Bass will make there way up the river before long..
