    Default Rodhiss Sunday

Fished rodhiss today, and had a tough time at first, but i got on a mess of em bout 11:00am. water was cooler than i thought at 58 degrees, so there were no fish up shallow that i saw. They have moved up though, was catchin em in 30 ft water, now theyre suspended in the tops of sunken brush 15ft down in about 20 - 25 ft of water. caught 25 crappies and a few green carp, and some coontails. today was a testimony to the fact that if your off just a few feet, you can miss em all together. Fished for 30 minutes on my point... nuttin.... then moved the boat 20ft and BAM!! there they was. Got em on minners most all at 15ft. caught a lot of fat females so theyll be up soon im sure. anybody else fish Rodhiss this weekend? let me know how u did.
Funny story, I was drivin through Rutherford College this mornin and there was this dude just standing on his front porch, naked as a jaybird. right of the main road in plain view!!!! guess some people got no shame.

Thanks for the post about Rhodhiss, and earlier ones about Rhodhiss and Lake James. I moved to Old Fort about two months ago and those are the two main lakes I fish. Haven't gotten on the crappie good yet. I used to live near High Rock and crappie catching was pretty easy. Did a lot of trolling. I'm looking forward to learning the ropes up here.
