2nd blockbuster morning on Norman

gave the striper a break yesterday and went after them this morning. met up there with rookie1 at about 6:45 and he FINALLY for the first time expierenced what i call a blockbuster morning. every cast on topwater you get smacked, boiled on, hit, ect ect. man it was great. he already had 3 fish on the bank by the time i got there and he wasnt there more than 5 minutes before i got there. to make a long story short it was one of them mornings....4 casts, 4 keepers. our fishing was done at 8. now Chris you saw first hand why i keep coming back every morning that I can!

I don't suppose there is any way one of you guys could PM a guy new to NC an area to try this morning action from the bank? I totally understand if not, honeyholes shouldn't even be shared with your honey. Everyone needs to earn them for sure. BUT, it never hurts a guy to ask.:rolleyes: Take care and good luck guys.

its no secret.....we are fishing the "hothole" on the southern end of the lake....aka McGuire Nuclear Powerplant. best action is as soon as you are allowed to fish (7am). you can catch them on bottom all day long out there right now as well if you have the right bait. We are in the PEAK of the action now........bout 3 more weeks and the striper action will be over.........see ya out there sometime.
