I ve been reading reports and talking to some others and the fish are biting on all of the NC coast. Bait everywhere. Fisherman are a little slow at the Outerbanks, as most can't get to their boats right now. Those that can are catching fish.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
Spanish are biting off Holden and Ocean Isle
guys im at the beach right now....fishing is dead all around. dirty/sandy water out up to 15 miles out....we fished 30 miles offshore yesterday....caught a nice curious cobia...other than that not even any bottom fish to speak of. spanish are non existant right now, however it is true, bait all up and down the beach....just a matter of days. will be in the 45 mile range tomorrow with 10+ boats fishing all up and down the beach for a fishing event...will have a better report soon.
id think the surf fishing for drum, spot and trout would be pretty decent right now.

I live at the outer banks near kitty hawke and the spots were biting pretty good last week at avalon pier. Inshore is kinda dead,we have had 15 25 mph wind sw and se all week.Might want to hold off coming this way due to the road ( hwy 12 ) being washed out. You will be kinda limited to where you can go. I will try to update you all throughout the weekend and next week. I use to live in conover near hichory and transferd here with the state in 1998. That makes for a long trip not to catch fish. I believe I would fish the lakes yall's way until you here something different.
Hope you all have a safe weekend on the water.
God Bless
