    Default is it worth it?

i have found a 98' ranger r81 sport, that sits on a 03' ranger trailer but it has a 2011 mercury pro xs 150 that is warranted until may 2017, ( that is the selling point to me). we have been dancing back and forth on this boat for several days now and 14,000 seems to be what i can get it for. it has had new carpet put in this year everything works and has been garaged kept and the color matches my truck. the electronics are nice but i would like to get a new variable speed trolling motor for it, but that is not necessary, and of course install rod holders. what are ya'lls thoughts, i have done quite a bit of shopping around and if you write ranger on something it costs, but they retain resale better than anything else, and i have already had two different ones sold the very day i was gonna go get them. i really like the long transferable warranty, motor was bought new in may, has less than 20 hrs on her.

wow. fished out of one for a few years. pretty stable and will fly. the one i fished out of with 150, would run 60 plus. sounds like a buy to me gobbler and with the resale a pretty good investment. good luck.

From the responses it sounds like a good buy....but remember, youre the only one the price has to satisfy. Just make sure this is the boat you want and the motor being new, well, that's a plus. If you do that, then you'll be happy with it.
