Went to James Sunday morning to fish for walleye and was pulling planer boards along banks. Started catching crappie on boards so I put crappie minnows out behind the boards. Caught 15 crappie and 12 or 13 white bass. My walleye boards are a litttle big for 4 or 6 lb. line, may have to make me a few small boards. Pulled a 1/16 oz jig tipped with a minnow and added some weight on boards closer to the boat. Was running around .7 to .8 mph. My girls had a good day of playing the white bass on crappie rods.
