Me and Zach hit Jordan this morning for a day of fishing hoping the weather would hold off till we were done. BEAUTIFUL DAY!! Got on the lake by 6:30am and fished leadcore and downriggers with buchtail/sassy shad mixture. Fished the main lake in the am finishing around the white ball by around lunch then ran over to the Haw for a couple hours. Caught some perch over there with some more stripers. Offered to Zach to take the perch and try for cats (you don't have to guess his answer) and we anchored up back on the main lake and picked up some cats. Finished off the day pulling for stripers agian picking up a few more as the sun went down. Ended the day with 24 stripers (3 keepers), 7 catfish, 4 perch, and 1 crappie. Got to enjoy my first double of stripers and actually picked up two doubles today. Also added a pic of my trolling set up with Zach at the wheel. Absolutely wonderful day on the lake with Zach. Also fished near Tommy (Turtlestewbro) today and we met at the boat ramp for pictures before we left. Good to see you out there again Tommy, look foward to fishing with ya again soon. I go down to Fayteville Thursday for graduation from FTCC in the funeral service program so I told Zach this was my graduation party. Here are some pics of the day, hope ya'll enjoy! BTW, water temp up to 79 by this evening.

Hey Mike just joined up The name is olb bay toller suppose to be troller my name is Mike also can you give me some tips and places to troll for striper on jordan ben trolling local and murray for 17 years just dont know where to fish on jordan any help would be thankfull
Most of the guys that troll down there troll from the mouth of the "S" curves to the 64 bridge. The best thing to do is go down there on a Saturday and you should see some guys trolling around for them. Most run channel 68 on the radio and are pretty helpful in pointing you in the right direction as far as colors/depths and the like. Good luck down there, it can be a lot of fun and a lot of frustration.
