    Default Sunday night fishing under a full moon!


    Put in Farrington Sunday about 9 am and went to 751 bridge were I caught 7 in about 10 feet of water on Minnow. The wind picked up so we hid out inside a cove until it calm down and this was about 6:45 and we had a total of 12 fish. So upon arriving back at boat ramp we notice the moon coming up huge. We decided to hit the store for snacks and go right back at em. Shortly after returning we notice we didnt have enough minnows so I started trolling with Monkey milk shade and THATS WHEN THE FUN STARTED! There were fish everywere, from 8 to 20 ft deep and everything that hit was huge!!! After all was said we both had limited out and caught another limit on catch and release. Thumbs Up

    I was always curious if crappie bit jigs at night like they do minnows, I guess my question is answered. Sounds like a fun evening.

    Yeah I was very curious once I had tied on the jig. Would they hit jig at night time? And yes they hit hard and it was a bright full moon. I have seen the light I will be a jig troller for now on!!!Got to get my boat set up!
