Friday I got a call from Billy, he wanted to do a night stalk on Jordan. We had heard some good reports so I said yeah. We put in at Farrington and ran all the way to Ebeenezer. Fishing was hot. Couldn't keep a rod in the water for more than 30 seconds before it got hit. Unfortunately ,they were mostly white bass, and every one of them had to swallow the hook. We hung out until after dark and picked up a few nice keepers. It was crowded and I suggested we run back to Farrington to finish the night there. Same story, white bass out the ying yang, but we were catching a few crappie in the mix. Called it a night around midnight and brought home 7) 11 inch fish for the freezer. I was going to try a few condos but it was breezy out on the main lake. We'll try again soon.
Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!

Much quicker in the new boat since it is twice as fast. We made the trip there while it was daylight, and on thte way back all I had to do was follow my trail on the GPS. I could have done it without taking my eyes off the screen, but since there are other boats out there, I peeked:D

Had about the same result fishing the Farrington bridge on Saturday night. Dang white bass and small crappie tore our minnows up. We only had a couple keepers by the time we packed it up and headed home. Went with a new buddy albright1695 who just happens to live real close to me. Looking forward to going again soon.
Boyce, try fishing only 2 poles and hold on to hem and set the hook when they first hit. Then put away your minnies and use a blue/silver/black Kalin's triple tail and work it. That's just a general rule- you have permission to set down one rod occasionally to quench your thirst.:D
Those pesky bait stealers!! I get so frustrated at them. I have found if I drop a couple feet, sometimes having to add weight to get below the white bass fast, will be more productive of my target fish.
"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them
