    I SEEN A GUY at kerr scott in wilkes county crappie fishin and HE WAS CATCHING BIG HYBIRDS ON WHITE BLAKE MORE ROADRUNNERS HE CAUGHT 5 BETWEEN 4LBS AND 15 LBS AND I PULLED OVER AND TALKED TO HIM AND HE SAID HE WAS THROWING THEM BACK CAUSE THEY WERENT FIT TO EAT
    fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count

    They are good to eat, you just got to cook them right. We landed 13 of them this morning, Moss lake.

    There are a lot of way to cook them, but the most important thing is to get the red meat out. I bake mine sometimes and sometimes we cut it up in bit size pieces and deep fry it.

    After removing the red streak, soak it in Sprite for about three hours before frying. Sweet'ns the meat and adds a touch of lime flavor.
