Set out early and got fishin around 8 (takes awhile for me to get down there). Caught one on the first cast using jig only. The woman was with me, told her to cast in the same place as i was taking the first one off...... dang if she didnt catch one on her first cast.... and it was the big one for the day 14". caught a few more there and wasted about 2 hours anchored up using corks and minnows, caught a few that way but not many. Then started longlining up shallow, thats when the fun started. put 12 keepers in the boat (plus some bluegill and pumpkin seeds) in about 30 -45 minutes, even had a double hook up for her... she was happy and so was i. alot of fun! left outta there around 3 to get back home, left em bitin.
good job, sounds like a good day
When in doubt, set the hook.

Good job and nice report. Glad you got on them with the lady in the boat. Its always a bummer to take someone and the fish not cooperate.
Way to go.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
Good report
I PRACTICE CATCH & FRY---WHEN I CAN FISH AND CATCH:D
good job
