I went back today and caught about 40 from 8:30 to 9:30 then the wind started getting up and the bite just about quit. Ended up catching about 50 by 12:00 and turned in. The water looks funny, it is dark clouded down about a foot deep, kinda like it is turning, couldnt be turning but it sure does look like it. I dont know whats up. Dont know if the whole lake is like that or not but it sure was where I was fishing. Wonder whats going on?
This has been a weird year for all lakes, i have never seen any thing like it.
I talked to an old fisherman that fishes daily and he said it was due to the heavy pollen than has fallen on the lake and is being absorbed into the water. May be, cause there sure has been a thick layer of pollen this year. It seems to me more cloudy in the shallower water than it does down toward the dam.
