Finally some Crappies at camp..

Oh and if it is a cycle I hope its for the better. A guy hooked on to a 42" tiger musky today.. I need to get the pics of that. I was busy in a nap when that came to the shore...

I'm wondering if the bluegill/sunfish population is competing for food to the point where the crappie just aren't growing as well. (we're talking small lakes). I used to target gills for the frying pan until I started chasing slabs. Now I throw back a LOT of gills. Maybe I need to start mixing them in with my catch and help bring that population down a bit.
