I had our 8th annual fish fry on Sunday afternoon. We had a pretty good turn out dispite all the other things that came up within the last week before it. A lot of people that planned on coming couldn't make it on Sunday. We still had 100 people that attended and they all had a good time. All the food was fantastic and we have a lot of leftovers. We gave a lot of fish away to the ones that came to take home. We also grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, summer sausage, and a neighbor even smoked some pulled pork. He brought 2 containers and told my wife that one was for the party and one was for us to take home.
We had people from South Dakota, Iowa and I think a few was from Missouri. 2 people ended up going to the Hospital instead and one told the Dr to do what he needed to but he was coming to the fish fry. The other guy didn't make it to the fry.
I started cooking about 6:45 AM and didn't get done until 10:00 AM. Our party was from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. I cooked the fish ahead of time and put them in an electric oven so I could visit with our guests instead of cooking the whole time like I use to do. If everyone could have come that said they was coming we would have had around 200 people.
Some people forgot about it,(Chris) opps, and went fishing instead. Everyone had a good time and are looking forward to the next one.

I have been trying to put the pictures from the fish fry on here but, I just got a new printer and it isn't letting me scan the pictures to the computer. Will get them put on when I get it figured out. EB
