OT- General

gambler, i have been fighting a wc case for over 2 yrs. yet to settle or even receive any compensation at all. employer keeps appealing. please for the sake of all hard working people, call or email your HOUSE REP and plead for them to vote againsT any legislation that takes away the rights of injured workers and gives the insurance companies free reighn when to stop your benefits and stop all medical payments you deserve and are due. nobody goes to work to get hurt, so why should we, the injured also have to worry about not getting what is rightfully ours!! tell your reps to vote no!!!! TODAY!!!!!!

I'll look at the bill and see what I can make of it.

Just another comment ...... Next year when you start getting those political fliers in the newspaper or in your mailbox, or you see or hear them on TV & radio, pay close attention to who paid for the ad. Never take any of them at face value regardless of which side they come from, even if the message seems to go along with the way you personally feel. Use your noggin, do the research (which often takes only a few minutes) and make a decision based on fact.
Politics, which is ideally about representation of the people, is most often MISrepresentation in one way or the other.

This is no where near what you are battling but I have been on a diet for a couple of months. I hit 276 lbs. the end of Feb and said "thats it!" I aint hittin 300! I am now down to 251. Another 20 to go and belive me the first 10 or 15 was easy. Now its a battle. One thing I put down was the alcohol. Sweet tea is the hardest thing. It's a lifestyle change. But I know it's what I want, and if I want to enjoy my sons latter years it's a change I have to make. Help is out there. Talking through it when you feel weak with friends and family and even the guys here will help. Don't be afraid to ask for it. Good luck bro!

Been sober for 17 years this May. Tried alot of ways to quit, but nothing worked. JESUS CHRIST fixed me at once. No withdraws, no sickness, just quit and never will have another drink. Jesus has your answer no matter how bad you think your problem is. Your family and friends will also benefit from your change. After you try everything else, Jesus will cure your problem and save your life.
