I've always carried State Farm on mine also. Never had a claim but I guess I should check my coverage.

I used to have my boat insurance with American Family, but we had a fallin out or sorts. Myself and 2 other people I know were all denied lower unit claims from American Family. We all had pretty much the same thing happen (hit a floating tree/stump while running), but American Family stated that it was a mechanical failure on my claim and the same thing was told to the other 2 guys. :(

I have sinced switched my boat over to State Farm and have had it with them for about 2 years now. I'm happy with them so far.
