Buying a boat in Arkansas

Possibly will be buying a used boat in Arkansas from and individual. What do I need to do so the license bureau will register it? I have heard boats motors in Arkansas do not have titles. Just don't want to have to make 2 trips to Arkansas.

We have purchased several from Arkansas, get a BOS for each, any titles, be sure to list serial numbers, and check HP info, bought a 2.5 title came back 25 was a major pain to get corrected. Other than that no issues, read the info from Keeferfish's post not a big deal

A bill of sale and the registration documents from the previous owner, that matches the info on the bills of sale. Print out the DOR forms that are posted above.

The registration documents are important, anyone can forge a bill of sale.

I have bought 3 from arkansas, no bill of sale, just the form from the license bureau Highway Patrol inspection on the numbers and wala no problems
